Registered Nurse - Acute Care/Night Shift

Immediate Opening Full Time opening for Night Shift Registered Nurse.

RN’s working at this community hospital are responsible for managing individualized direct patient care by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process. The nurses collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, while providing an exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their evaluation process. This RN also functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments. Successful applicant will work in both acute care and emergency department settings.

PRN Certified Nursing Assistant

Lillian M. Hudspeth Memorial Hospital is accepting applications for a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant for our Critical Access Hospital. The CNA performs basic nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse and monitors and assists patients with personal, nutritional, and physical care. This employee works with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality healthcare to all patients in the hospital and the emergency room. Environmental Service Technician

Environmental Service Technician needed at the Sutton County Hospital District. Environmental Services staff is responsible for the maintenance of all properties of the hospital district, including but not limited to the hospital, wellness center, and Sonora Medical Clinic daily. Verifiable experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and lawn maintenance is required. The Environmental Services Tech is required to maintain tactfulness and discretion when in contact with patients, visitors, and other personnel. This department ensures all restrooms, patient room, appropriate clinical areas, and waiting rooms are safe and hazard free for patients and other employees and assists environmental service technicians and the Plant Operations Director as needed. Applicant should have a high school education, valid driver’s license, or access to reliable transportation to work. Some weekend and evening work required. EMT BASIC/ADVANCED EMT/PARAMEDIC

Openings for EMT Basic/Advanced EMT/Paramedic. Sutton County EMS, a Hospital-based Emergency Medical Service with excellent equipment and competitive employee pay. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for the provision of therapy services as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. This position will see outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed patients for physical therapy treatments. The physical therapy department works closely with all department directors, medical and clerical staff as well as other professional staff, visitors and families to alleviate pain and prevent disability by planned and administering medically prescribed physical therapy services.
