Registered Nurse - Acute Care/Night Shift

Immediate Opening! Full Time opening for Night Shift Registered Nurse.

RNs working at this community hospital are responsible for managing individualized direct patient care by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, while providing an exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their evaluation process. This RN also functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.Successful applicant will work in both acute care and emergency department settings. Fully integrated electronic health records. EMT BASIC/ADVANCED EMT/PARAMEDIC

Openings for EMT Basic/Advanced EMT/Paramedic. Sutton County EMS, a Hospital-based Emergency Medical Service with excellent equipment and competitive employee pay. Sutton County EMS is licensed through the Texas Department of State Health Services as a BLS/MICU-capabilities service providing 911 and non-emergency services to the City of Sonora, Sutton County and the surrounding area. Current certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician or higher; Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License and effective verbal and written communication skills. Sutton County Hospital District is accepting applications for a licensed Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist is responsible for the provision of therapy services as directed by the patient’s physician. This position will see outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed patients for physical therapy treatments. The physical therapy department works closely with all department directors, medical and clerical staff as well as other professional staff, visitors and families to alleviate pain and prevent disability by planned and administering medically prescribed physical therapy services. This is a staff physical therapist position working under the direction of the Physical Therapy Director. This is a fulltime position with competitive wages and benefits, including group health, TCDRS retirement, cafeteria vision, supplemental, dental and life insurance. Sutton County Hospital District is accepting applications for a PRN Radiologic Technologist. The technician is responsible for performing radiographic procedures per physician order to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injuries. The Technician will work closely with all patients and patient’s families, medical and clerical staff as well as other professional staff, ancillary department members. This position works interactively with all departments of the Hospital District to ensure quality patient care. This is a PRN position that could become a full-time position with competitive wages and benefits, including group health with employee’s premiums paid by the district, TCDRS retirement, dental, vision, supplemental and voluntary term life options at group rates.
