Registered Nurse - Acute Care/Night Shift

Immediate Opening Full Time opening for Night Shift Registered Nurse.

RN’s working at this community hospital are responsible for managing individualized direct patient care by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process. The nurses collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, while providing an exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their evaluation process. This RN also functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments. Successful applicant will work in both acute care and emergency department settings.

Environmental Service Technician

Environmental Service Technician needed at the Sutton County Hospital District. Environmental Services staff is responsible for the maintenance of all properties of the hospital district, including but not limited to the hospital, wellness center, and Sonora Medical Clinic daily. Verifiable experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and lawn maintenance is required. The Environmental Services Tech is required to maintain tactfulness and discretion when in contact with patients, visitors, and other personnel. This department ensures all restrooms, patient room, appropriate clinical areas, and waiting rooms are safe and hazard free for patients and other employees and assists environmental service technicians and the Plant Operations Director as needed. Applicant should have a high school education, valid driver’s license, or access to reliable transportation to work. Some weekend and evening work required. This is a full-time job with competitive pay and generous benefits to include group health through BCBS, cafeteria group dental, vision, and life insurance. $20k life insurance paid by the hospital district. PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Sutton County Hospital District is accepting applications for a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for the provision of therapy services as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. This position will see outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed patients for physical therapy treatments.
